Class Announcements
Class goal for the 4th quarter- 80%!
Overall the progress our group has registered is satisfactory, but it's not enough to feed our ambitious minds. Can we reach the goal in this final quarter? How ambitious are you? Let's work and see.

Almost there

The average percentage for the 6 quizzes that the ESOL level 1 students took in the 3rd quarter is 77%. It is lower than the goal of 82%. I know this overall score  can disappoint some of the students in the group. I would like to congratulate though the students who improved their class performance and are continuing to do so. Keep on witht he good work!

"We learn only from failure."
The group average for quizzes throughout the second quarter is 77.6%, just under the 81% target.
Are you going to reach the taget in the 3rd quarter?
I know your ambition is to prove that you can.
Let's keep heads up and commit to what we want to achieve: improve the overall level of English by the end of the school year.
The bar graph can be downloaded  from the class files section.

Well done!
You've made it to the top. Your first success is a grade of 85.4 % for the group average. The average accounts for the seven quizzes that you took in September and October. As announced, each time you reach your target you'll get a reward. The reward you chose this time was to watch a movie. I've attached the bar graph that goes with your target. Although not much can be read, you can still see the upright curve showing your improvement. The bar graph can be downloaded  from the class files section. Print it so as to remind you of a great victory for your class.
This success is a good sign for the greater task you committed yourselves to by the end of this school year: mastering basic English so as to become confident readers and speakers of the language. Next I expect you to be as hardworking as you were in these first two months of school.

Class goal for October quizzes
Students, I admire the ambitious goal you have set yourselves to get to. You set a target of 80% on class average for your quizzes by the end of October. So far the class average is 82.42%. Congratulations! Keep to the good work you've been doing.
